Greenish-gold. More floral than the Mar de Vinas, displaying scents of honeysuckle, jasmine, nectarine and melon. Fleshy orange and pit fruit flavors are on the exotic side for this variety, picking up a touch of sweetness with air. The supple finish shows a lingering floral quality.

The 2009 Nessa Albarino offers a similar aromatic and flavor profile but lacks the concentration of its sibling. These Albarinos should be consumed over the next 2-3 years. The 2009 vintage was superb in Rias Baixas and hence for the Albarino grape. While the above three wines are solid efforts, they fail to reflect just how good 2009 was.
