Tasting notes
Derived primarily from the estate's Spring Mountain property, Keenan's 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon includes a dollop of Pope Valley fruit as well. Hints of bay leaf accent cassis and black cherry fruit on the nose, while the medium to full-bodied palate is nicely structured, with firm tannins that turn silky and elegant on the lasting finish.

Moving to the Cabernet Sauvignon releases, the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon is more herbal and straightforward, with attractive dark fruits, medium body, good balance, and a clean finish.
The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon is terrific. A bust of savory Cabernet aromatics opens first. Deep and persistent, the Cabernet is full of character from start to finish. Blue/purplish fruit, spice, leather, tobacco, menthol and pine all open in the glass. This mid-weight, classically built wine is beautifully rendered.
