Score 91/100 · Drink 1995-2007, Robert Parker, Feb 1992
The price is high, but there are only 200 cases of this Caymus-Special Selection-look alike Cabernet Sauvignon. Copious amounts of toasty, vanillin, and smoky new oak aromas accompany lavish amounts of rich cassis fruit. In the mouth, the wine exhibits a multidimensional texture, with layers of black-cherry and curranty fruit wrapped in generous quantities of new oak. This full-bodied, impeccably well-made Cabernet Sauvignon should drink well in 2-3 years and last for 15 or more.
