An attractive array of blueberries, game and wild flowers combine to good effect on the nose. The palate offers a fleshy and succulent feel with such rich, ripe and smooth-honed tannins, carrying plenty of ripe, juicy blue-fruit flavor. This has presence and depth. Drink or hold.

Also brilliant, the 2017 Pinot Noir Anisya's Blend comes from the Susanna’s Vineyard on the Sonoma Coast and spent 15 months in 53% new French oak. It offers slightly more red fruits as well as ample spring flowers, rose garden, and sweet earth aromas and flavors. This is brilliant, balanced, elegant stuff that had me write “who makes these??” in my notes. Hats off to winemaker Pete Soergel for another incredible wine.
