Unusual for its mint and Oreo cookie aroma. Sweet, ripe blackberry and red cherry, cola, spice. Coarse tannins should smooth with time, but the heat won’t go away. (LM)

The 2004 Pinot Noir Garys’ Vineyard possesses a dark color as well as plum, cherry, and Allspice characteristics as well as a hint of wood. It is a big-framed yet lush, heady wine that should drink nicely for 5-6 years. Tel. (707) 944-9500
