Tasting notes
The 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon incorporates 9% Cabernet Franc into the blend and spent 22 months in 80% new French oak. Scents of mint, cassis, black cherries, cinnamon and cedar appear on the nose, while the medium to full-bodied palate is clean, correct, nicely textured and balanced, with a long, mouthwatering finish.

Including 9% Cabernet Franc, the 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon sports a deep purple hue as well as nicely defined, classic notes of blue and black fruits, tobacco leaf, scorched earth, and graphite. Rich, nicely concentrated, and balanced, it’s a workhorse styled, impeccably put together Cabernet that's going to provide ample pleasure over the coming 15 years or so.
The 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon is gorgeous. Opulent and creamy, with superb persistence, the 2018 packs a serious punch. Inky dark fruit, mocha, spice, menthol and licorice all build in the glass. The 2018 is deep and opulent to the core, but more than that, it captures all the personality of this site in Eastern Oakville. Bright floral accents liven up the finish nicely. I would give the tannins a few years to soften.
