Score 87/100 · Drink 2017-2022, Monica Larner, Wine Advocate, Oct 2017

I had never previously rated the wines of Quercia al Poggio. The 2015 Chianti Classico takes a simple and traditional approach with 80% Sangiovese enhanced with a 20% combination of Ciliegiolo, Canaiolo, Malvasia Nera and Colorino. The wine is crisp and bright with a mid-weight mouthfeel. The bouquet offers cherry, cassis, moist earth and grilled herb. Some 70,000 bottles were made.
