Tasting notes
The 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Oakville is dense, plush and inviting. Dark red cherry, plum, chocolate, leather, new oak, licorice and menthol all build in the glass. Creamy and expressive, with terrific resonance, the 2015 will drink well upon release and for at least another handful of years beyond that.

The 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon District Collection Oakville comes from the east side of the appellation and is a fresh, pretty, perfumed wine. Blueberries, cassis, violets, incense and a kiss of graphite all give way to a medium to full-bodied, complex, silky red ideal for drinking over the coming 10-15 years. These wines are made by the talented Stephanie Putnam, and by Napa Valley standards, they represent terrific value.
The 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon St Helena District Collection opens with a deep garnet-purple color and a savory/meaty nose of smoked bacon, earth, crème de cassis and incense with suggestions of cinnamon stick, cloves and dried flowers. The full-bodied mouth is velvety and well balanced with plenty of expressive, subtle flavor layers and a long, earthy finish.
