Pale yellow. Peach and apricot pit along with smoke and butter on the ripe nose, plus a honeyed note I did not find in the '06. Fresh, intense stone fruit and brown spice flavors show lovely inner-mouth aromatic character and lift. The rising, peachy finish is complex and perfumed.

Pale, green-tinged color. Lime and honey aromas, with a note of white peach emerging with aeration. Rich, serious and backward, with a dominant flavor of citrus zest and lovely sugar/acid balance. Finishes intense, pure and long, with a bracing flavor of white peach. This really gains in richness as it opens in the glass, while retaining a sharpness of acidity that's utterly refreshing. Superb, gripping premier cru in the making.
