Score 91/100 · Drink 2025-2032, Jeb Dunnuck, Jul 2025

Displaying a youthful green-tinged yellow hue, the 2021 Chardonnay Alexander Valley has a more lifted nose, with notes of lime zest, marzipan, melon rind, and baked green apples. Full-bodied, it has nice focus on the palate, with a silky texture, a clean finish, good length, and a lasting vanilla perfume on the back palate. It’s ripe but retains a nice accent of acidity. It will be best enjoyed over the coming 6-7 years.
