Tasting notes
Crossbarn's 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley comes predominantly from Paul Hobbs's Coombsville vineyard, augmented by some purchased fruit from Calistoga. Matured in 15% new French oak, it offers up scents of black cherries, cassis and suede, alongside hints of cedar and vanilla. In the mouth, the wine is nicely smooth and supple, even plush, really well-integrated and long. It's a terrific value in Napa Cabernet.

The 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon (Napa Valley) is packed with blackberry, licorice, crème de cassis, spice and leather. Like the Sonoma County Cabernet, it offers tons of richness, but in this case, the ripeness is somewhat held in check because of the blend sites (in Coombsville).
