Tasting notes
The 2016 Pinot Noir TBH Vineyard presents a distinctly earthy, spicy profile that works well with the pliant, resonant dark fruit. This is an expressive, inviting Pinot from Small Vines. I would cellar the 2016 for another year or two, as the tannins are a bit imposing at this stage.

The 2016 Pinot Noir TBH Vineyard includes 50% whole cluster and aged in 29% new French oak for 14 months. Pale to medium ruby-purple in the glass, it has a great open nose of warm cinnamon, orange peel, smoked meats, turned earth and pepper with a core of ripe, warm black and blue fruits. Light to medium-bodied, it fills the mouth with ripe, savory-laced black fruits and spicy nuances, framed by ripe, grainy tannins and juicy freshness, finishing very long and very savory. 246 cases produced.
