Score 92/100 · Drink 2022-2032, Antonio Galloni, Vinous, Apr 2020

The 2018 Pinot Noir Bjornson Vineyard is another wine in this range that presents a good deal of overtness. Sweet pipe tobacco, cedar, blood orange, mint, hard candy and sweet red cherry all develop with a bit of aeration. Deep, powerful and resonant, with terrific intensity, the 2018 is not quite as complex as the best wines in this range, but it makes up for that with its considerable charm and immediacy.
