Tasting notes
Estate-grown. Grenache Blanc, Roussanne, and Vermentino. 10% new oak. Organic. Pale lemon. Incredibly rich, creamy, custardy vanilla with ripe peach and lemon zest on the nose. Alongside the mineral, salty backbone this drinks like a restrained Châteauneuf-du-Pape Blanc. Very nice, fat, beeswax texture. Dry, with enough acid to extend the honey-kissed finish. (SCJ)

The 2022 The White Coat is composed of estate-grown Grenache Blanc from Paso Robles, Roussanne from Howell Mountain and Vermentino from Amador County. The nose leads with oily, broad aromas of poached pears, white peach and beeswax. The palate is light-bodied, bright and energetic, with delicate, clean flavors and a long, floral finish. It develops quickly in the glass, adding nuanced but vibrant aromas of cashews and dried flowers and concurrently gains additional weight and richness on the palate.
