2017 Skylark Syrah Rodgers Creek Vineyard

Always one of my favorites in the lineup, the 2017 Syrah Rodgers Creek Vineyard comes from a site in the Petaluma Gap and was two-thirds destemmed and aged in 50% new French oak. Classic Syrah gamey notes of ground pepper, bay leaf, and assorted dark fruits give way to a medium to full-bodied, nicely concentrated, balanced Syrah that will evolve gracefully for a decade.
