The 2020 Languedoc Retour De Marche is also solid, although I don't think it matches the 2019. Black cherries, new leather, ground pepper, and some earthy notes define the nose, and it's medium-bodied, with a nicely balanced mouthfeel and building tannins. It should round into form with just a year of bottle age.

Leathery, tough, mulberries and bruised. Tank sample that has got a little oxidised? (TC)
