Tasting notes
Bright yellow. Pure, fruit-driven aromas of peach, apple and pear. A bit youthfully bound-up but spicy and pure, with very good energy and cut to the stone fruit flavors. Concentrated, rich wine with a subtle sweetness and excellent finishing lift and length. This spent its first 11 months in 30% new oak, then was racked into two- and three-year-old barrels.

Pale yellow. Sexy aromas of lemon and hazelnut. Fresh and complex on the palate; a step up in precision from the foregoing samples, with vibrant, high-pitched lemon and soft citrus flavors. Still youthfully tight, even a bit severe, but this is much more classic for the vintage. Finishes with lingering perfume and a late note of crystallized lemon peel.
