This estate continues to increase the quality of their wines, with the 1990s the best yet produced. Boillot's American importer, Kermit Lynch, finally convinced him to discard his filters for those wines sold here. Boillot's three best wines is the Nuits St.-Georges-Les Pruliers exhibits copious quantities of up-front, sweet black fruits intertwined with aromas of truffles, toasty oak, and earth. Ripe and lush, this low acid, 1985-ish styled wine is delicious now, but promises to last for 7-8 years. Importer: Kermit Lynch, Berkeley, CA.
