Tasting notes
Starting with the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Dust & Glory, which comes from Howell Mountain and saw 45% new barrels, it has lots of classic Howell black fruits and scorched earth notes as well as notes of new leather, iron, dark chocolate, and liquid violets. Medium to full-bodied on the palate, it has a great mid-palate as well as the structure and tannins to keep for 15-20 years.

Deep garnet-purple in color, the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Dust & Glory is a little closed and cedary to begin, giving way to a core of stewed blackberries, crème de cassis and Morello cherries, plus wafts of dried Mediterranean herbs and crushed rocks. Medium to full bodied, the palate delivers loads of earthy/savory layers with chewy tannins and an oak-laced finish.
