Score 90/100 · Jeb Dunnuck, May 2020

Lastly, the 2017 Cameron Fisher is based on 52% Cabernet Sauvignon, 32% Malbec, 10% Merlot, and the rest Petit Verdot and comes from younger vines in Napa. Spiced blackberries, black cherries, graphite, leafy herbs, and chocolate all emerge from the glass, and it's medium to full-bodied, plump, rounded, and mouthfilling on the palate, with loads of fruit.

The 2017 Red Wine Cameron is soft, supple and fruity - all qualities that make it an excellent choice for drinking now and over the next handful of years. Still very primary, the 2017 needs time in bottle to develop its full range of flavors and aromatics. Even in the early going, though, the freshness and the purity of fruit are both remarkable.
