Inky ruby. Smoke-accented black and blue fruit liqueur and licorice aromas and flavors pick up a spicy nuance with air. In a decadent style, showing serious heft and building warmth on the finish, which shows just a hint of tannins. This brawny wine makes an impression with its sheer mass, but I'd have liked more energy.
