Tasting notes
The 2012 Chablis Bel Air et Clardy has a resinous bouquet with melted candle wax and light granite scents emerging from the glass. The palate is fresh on the entry with crisp acidity, a little closed at the moment, but I suspect will reopen for business with another 12 to 18 months. There is very good length here with a tang of freshly shaved ginger lingering long after the wine has departed. This is an excellent wine from Olivier and Alice de Moor.

De Moor's 2012 Chablis Bel-air et Clardys is all about brightness and focus. Citrus, white orchard fruit and flowers come to life in an intensely saline, nuanced Chablis built on pure pedigree and class. I very much like the sense of energy and tension here. This is a gorgeous showing.
