Tasting notes
Quivet's regular (destemmed) bottling of the 2021 Syrah Kenefick Ranch Vineyard aged in 50% new French oak, yet it remains peppery on the nose, with hints of black cherries and licorice. It's medium to full-bodied on the palate, with supple tannins, a refreshingly lacy mouthfeel and a lingering finish.

The 2021 Syrah Kenefick Ranch Vineyard comes from a vineyard in Napa and was brought up in 50% new oak. It's a classic expression of the variety and has a floral, peppery, Côte Rôtie-like style as well as medium body, supple, fine-grained tannins, terrific overall balance, and a great finish. Drink this brilliant Syrah over the coming decade.
Rich and fresh, with dark cherries, wild herbs and a fine touch of white pepper on the nose. Medium-to full-bodied with generous fruit and a nice, floral touch before fine, herbal bitterness at the end. Long, floral finish. Drink or hold.
