Score 92/100 · Stephen Tanzer, Vinous, Nov 2010

(a small joint venture of Waters Winery and Gramercy Cellars, made from their best lots of cabernet sauvignon) Good full red. Redcurrant, mulberry, plum and caramel on the nose, complemented by sexy oak spices. Broad, lush and sweet, with an almost exotic high-toned quality to the perfumed flavors of red berries and spices. Sound acidity gives the wine shape and balance. Finishes impressively broad and horizontal, with very smooth, ripe tannins and lingering spicy perfume. Sophisticated, glossy wine.
