Score 93/100 · Drink 1994-2004, Robert Parker, Aug 1994

Last Tasted 10/93 To date this is my favorite wine produced by B.R. Cohn. The 1984 exhibits a deep, thick, red color with amber at the edge. The nose opens to reveal sweet, jammy, red and black fruits intertwined with scents of herbs and toast. Expansive, chewy, and fat, with an attractive fleshiness, this full-bodied Cabernet is drinking well yet promises to last for another decade. It is an impressive, authoritatively-flavored, well-balanced wine.
