1997 Bonny Doon Le Cigare Volant

Red-ruby. Cranberry, redcurrant, chocolate and loam on the nose. Slightly stewy but ripe and sweet in the mouth; notes of berry skin, toasty oak and black pepper are framed by sound acids. Good mouthcoating texture. Finishes with faintly edgy acids but rather supple tannins and good length.
