2002 Grgich Hills Chardonnay Estate

Pale silver-yellow color. Waxy, nutty aromas of smoked meat, marzipan and vanillin oak. Rich, nutty and dense, with uncompromisingly dry but chewy flavors of peach, pear and hazelnut. Old-fashioned in a positive way. Very dry finishing flavors show very good texture and cling to the palate.
