Sunny vintage. Grapes bought in from Renardes. Fermented in cask, that is rolled each day. Transparent garnet with definite evolution. Rich and sweet. Flattering yet with a kick on the finish. Open, sweet and charming with the scent of violets. Much more structure than the average Corton. Very natural! Good energy and suavity. So much better than most Cortons! Very clean even if not that intense. Not fresh compared to the Chambertin-Clos de Bèze 2011. GV (JR)
