Brilliant ruby-red. Suave, highly perfumed aromas of oak-spiced red berries and cherry, along with building floral and spice nuances. Sweet and penetrating on the palate, offering raspberry, cherry-vanilla and spicecake flavors and a whisper of musky underbrush. Finishes very long and seamless, with resonating floral and cherry notes and melting tannins. Two-thirds new French oak.

The 2016 Pinot Noir Redwoods' Edge comes from the highest elevation site and has spicy, resinous, whiskey barrel-like character as well as a medium-bodied, austere, firm style on the palate. It's the least attractive of the lineup.
