Tasting Notes
This has a pretty density with blueberries, black cherries and orange peel. Medium body, creamy tannins and a fresh, vivid finish. Lovely texture. Second wine of Pavie, made from particular parcels. 50% merlot and 50% cabernet franc.

Equal parts Merlot and Cabernet Franc, the 2024 Aromes De Pavie comes all from the upper plateau of pure limestone soils. Black raspberries, graphite, crushed stone, and floral notes all shine here, and it's medium-bodied, has a pure, layered, elegant mouthfeel, ripe tannins, and outstanding length. It even picks up a hint of truffles with time in the glass, and it's a beautiful Saint-Émilion in the making.
Deep garnet-purple colored. Scoots out with ready-to-go notes of black raspberries, fresh red and black plums, and red roses, plus hints of garrigue and graphite. The medium-bodied palate is soft, silky, and refreshing with vivacious red berry flavors and a lifted finish.
Intense and juicy, rich plum colour, huge amounts of crayon, graphite, hoisin plum, ink. Really takes things up a level in terms of 2nd wines, and I find it hard to name this as a 2024. 26hl/h yield, September 27 to October 9, 25hl/h yield. 3.55 pH. 50% new oak. Dedicated plots for Arômes since 2017,
