Sappy, reserved, leafy, incense, dried flowers, good quality, well constructed, on the slate and pumice, classic old school floral Cabernet Sauvignon, notes, tannins a little hard but acidity not overdone, well balanced and careful. 29 hl/ha yield.

A juicy, balanced and chocolaty red with plums and herbs on the nose, following through to a medium body with creamy tannins. Plenty of texture. Berries and chocolate on the flavorful finish.

73% Cabernet Sauvignon, 27% Merlot. Cask sample. Dark-berry aromas. Juicy attack then lots of dry extract. Tight and chewy on the finish. Extraction appears a little pushed. Drying finish. Where’s the Margaux elegance? (JL)

Mint, tobacco, cedar, flowers, red currants, and spice pop in the nose. The palate is vibrant, spicy, juicy, crisp, and with a strong kick of spearmint on the mid-palate, and in the refreshing finish. The wine blends 73% Cabernet Sauvignon with 27% Merlot, 13% ABV. Harvesting took place September 24 - October 7. Drink from 2028-2040.
