Tasting Notes
This is easily one of the better St Juliens of the vintage, filled with raspberry, plum and damson fruits, beautiful white pepper and sage spice, good lift and slate texture, really enjoyable. Vanessa and Jean Triaud owners, 29 hl/ha, first year organic certified.

The 2024 Saint-Pierre (Saint-Julien) is a potent, brooding wine. Blackberry jam, graphite, lavender, cloves, licorice and menthol are amplified in a dramatic, statuesque Saint-Julien that is all intrigue. The 2024 possesses notable depth and substance, but it's an imposing wine that will require cellaring. Tasted two times.
Licorice, espresso, cherries, licorice, and cigar box aromas form the nose. On the palate, the wine is open, fruity, fresh, and almost creamy, with chalky, mint tones accompanying the red currants in the finish. Give it just a year or two in the bottle, and it will be ready to go. 2024 marks the estate's first certified organic vintage, along with a new, modernized logo.
Good depth for the vintage, showing blackcurrants, dark chocolate and pine cones. Firm and fine-grained with medium to full body. Impressive length.
