Tasting notes
The 2024 Siaurac has adequate ripeness on the nose with redcurrant, cranberry, a touch of cedar and loam. The palate is well balanced with crunchy blackberry and raspberry, lightly spiced with cedar and black pepper on the finish. This is a success in the context of the vintage, though it does not quite reach the best wines I have tasted from the estate.

The 2024 Siaurac is aromatic and nicely lifted, with the perfume of the Franc very much in evidence. Crushed flowers, mint, white pepper, cinnamon and red-toned fruit all grace this expressive, mid-weight Lalande-de-Pomerol. The 2024 is just a touch lithe, but it is very nicely done.
