The 2024 Sénéjac was matured in 20% new oak. It has an upfront bouquet with brambly red fruit, briar and light pencil shavings scents, which are cohesive and attractive. The palate is medium-bodied with finely-knit tannins. Certainly one of the more elegant Haut-Médoc wines this vintage, with a pretty pastille-like finish.
Crisp, fresh, juicy, back raspberries, with a savory edge already display nicely on the medium-bodied, fresh, dark cherry toned palate. You can enjoy easily as soon as it is released. The wine blends 59% Cabernet Sauvignon, 29% Merlot, 8% Cabernet Franc, and 4% Petit Verdot.
A juicy and textured red with cherry and dark-chocolate aromas. Medium-bodied with silky tannins. Fruity finish.
