The 2024 Rayne Vigneau is a powerful, authoritative wine. Candied lemon peel, marzipan, dried flowers, mint and light tropical inflections fill out the layers. Rayne Vigneau offers terrific persistence, capped off with a slightly phenolic edge that adds quite a bit of character.

The 2024 Rayne-Vigneau has a relatively light bouquet that doesn't quite deliver the complexity of recent vintages, though it is clean with pleasant dried honey aromas. The palate is better, with ample weight, fine acidity and dried honey mixed with peach and marmalade notes that lead to a stem ginger-tinged finish. One of the more early-drinking vintages from Rayne-Vigneau, but it has class.

Honeyed, tropical fruits, vanilla, spices, tangerine, and candied white peaches set the stage here. Ripe, sugary, and fresh, with ample, sweet, ripe, tropical fruits coated with honey on the palate, and in the finish are on display here.
