Tasting notes
Exotic red and black fruits, sappy floral and herbal nuances, and spicy background oak all emerge from the 2024 Château Pierre 1Er. Medium-bodied, with fine yet savory tannins, it shows good overall balance, juicy acidity, and a solid, enjoyable character.

Unfussy, smoked earth, raspberry leaf, tobacco. The grilled cedar oak a little overwhelming, threatening at this early stage to overwhelm the fruit. 45hl/h yield. Plantated grapes given not the blend of the year.
The 2024 Pierre 1er is supple, fruity and easygoing. Blackberry, mocha, new leather, incense and licorice are nicely delineated. Medium in body, with good persistence, Pierre 1er has potential, especially if it fills out.
A chalky and powdery red with aromas of berries, violets and raw cocoa. It’s medium-bodied with fine tannins. Subtle texture. Berries and cocoa powder again in the finish.
