Vibrant ruby, with leafy and fragrant deep cassis fruits on the nose and attack, consistent and cheerful, a little soft on the finish, hard to build intensity in 2024, but there are fresh acidities here that add juice while avoiding being over the top; Harvest 20 September to October 8. Owned by the Casteja family since 2021, first vintage under the new team 2022, introduced cold soaks and gentle extractions.

The 2024 Peyrabon has a light bouquet with blackberry and light cassis scents that open with time. Pretty. The palate is medium-bodied and fleshy with smooth tannins, quite piquant in style with a red cherry and light raspberry coulis finish.

Earthy cherries, with a touch of sage form the character of this easy-going, already-drinkable wine. You can enjoy this on release for easy pleasure. The wine blends 63% Cabernet Sauvignon, 34% Merlot and 3% Petit Verdot.

A fresh and focused red with a linear character, showing currants, orange peel and hints of lemongrass. Light- to medium-bodied. Tangy. A blend of 63% cabernet sauvignon, 34% merlot and 3% petit verdot.
