Tasting Notes
The 2024 Château Nenin is 54% Merlot, 38% Cabernet Franc, and the rest Cabernet Sauvignon, all resting in 40% new oak. Ripe darker cherries, juicy cassis, graphite, and smoky, tobacco notes all emerge on the nose, and it's medium-bodied, with a supple, elegant mouthfeel and soft tannins. It's very much in the charming, accessible, well-made style of the vintage and estate.

Deep garnet-purple colored. Springs from the glass with vivacious notes of red currant jelly, fresh raspberries, and mulberries, giving way to hints of pencil shavings, red roses, and bay leaves. The light to medium-bodied palate delivers loads of zip with vibrant red berry flavors and savory accents, framed by fine-grained tannins and bold freshness, finishing long and minerally.
A blend of 54% Merlot, 38% Cabernet Franc and 8% Cabernet Sauvignon, the 2024 Nenin bursts with aromas of raspberries, cherries, licorice and rose petals. Medium-bodied, supple and lively, it's a fragrant, nicely integrated wine that represents a strong effort for the vintage.
