Tasting notes
Score 91-93/100 · Neal Martin, Vinous, Apr 2025

The 2024 Nairac, which contains 150 g/l residual sugar, has a simple bouquet that obviously lacks the botrytis concentration of the 2022. It feels delineated and focused, but there is less in the way of amplitude. The palate is actually far better with a pure entry, an endearing viscous texture and notes of saffron-infused apricot and peach towards the finish. My score is based on the expectation that the aromatics will improve in bottle.

Sweet, honeyed tropical fruits, overripe pineapples, and mangos are all over the place here, in the nose, and in the sweet, fruity, honey-coated palate.
