Tasting Notes
Inky plum, good quality black fruits on the opening, slate and cocoa bean, understated with some concentration through the mid palate, enjoyable if not quite showing the excellence of recent vintages, impacted by the challenges of 2024.

The 2024 La Vieille Cure has a touch of reduction on the nose, though it is armed with ample red berry fruit and scents of wilted rose petal and orange pith. It just needs a little coaxing. The palate is well balanced with fine tannins, a little grainy in texture but I appreciate its cohesion on the finish. This is one to look out for.
Black cherries, black currants, and floral aromatics open the wine. Medium-bodied, fresh, supple, and already quite charming to drink, the wine leaves you with sweet cherries, and fresh strawberries, with a note of refreshing mint on the backend. You can enjoy this with pleasure on release. The wine blends 80% Merlot, 17% Cabernet Franc, and 3% Cabernet Sauvignon.
A textured and seductive red with aromas of currants, baking spices and dried herbs. Medium-bodied with chalky tannins. Crunchy fruit with a firmer finish.
