Tasting Notes
The 2024 La Tour Carnet Blanc is 72% Sauvignon Blanc and 28% Sémillon, all done in 400-liter barrels, a pretty big stylistic change. Bright, crisp and nuanced, the 2024 is a superb white that shows the contemporary style of Bordeaux at its finest. Lemon peel, white flowers, chalk, mint and white pepper all race out of the glass. White wine is not the first thing that comes to mind in Haut-Médoc, but this is impressive, to say the least.

Bright and vivid green apple, citrus, with lees stirring that has successfully added depth and texture through the mid palate. Good quality. Harvest: 9 - 18 September. 100% in barrels of 400l, 50% new oak, 36 hl/ha yield.
The 2024 La Tour Carnet Blanc has a simple bouquet that lacks some complexity. The nose displays light grapefruit and citrus notes, but I would have liked more vigour. The palate is fresh with gooseberry, green apple and a slice of kiwi fruit, a bit short but it should drink well for three or four years.
Flowers with yellow, and orange citrus aromas fill the perfume. Juicy, vibrant, and fresh, the finish continues its thread of citrus, adding white peach, and spicy green apples along the way. The wine blends 72% Sauvignon Blanc with 28% Semillon. This is going to offer delicious drinking on release.
