Tasting Notes
Grilled oak on the nose, a little dilute through the palate, and soft on the finish. This is an estate that is supremely well located on the limestone plateau, and should come together better over ageing.

The 2024 La Couspade is an intriguing wine. Floral and savory aromatics meld into a core of red-toned fruit, chalk, mint, white pepper and orange peel. This mid-weight, aromatic Saint-Émilion has a lot to offer in a style that is all about class and understatement.
The 2024 La Couspaude lacked freshness and felt a bit muddled on the nose. The palate feels pushed in the winery so that it lacks overall balance and there are vegetal notes on the finish.
Plenty of juicy fruit, with dark chocolate, walnut, berry and fresh herb character. Medium-bodied, chewy and polished. Lots going on for the vintage.
