Deep garnet-purple colored. Opens with notes of fresh red and black plums and red cherries, followed by hints of graphite, dusty soil, and dried herbs. The light to medium-bodied palate is fresh and fruity with red berry flavors and soft tannins, finishing with a cheeky lift.
An attractive, easygoing blend of 97% Merlot and 3% Cabernet Franc, the 2024 Fugue de Nenin offers up aromas of cassis and raspberries followed by a supple, medium-bodied palate.
Fresh acidities, redcurrant and raspberry leaf aromatics, juicy and easy, with balance although low on Pomerol seduction.
