Tasting notes
The 2024 Château d'Arche has a comparatively light bouquet compared to previous vintages, though I find this elegant and poised with commendable purity. Touches of wild honey, peach skin and clementine form its bouquet. The palate is well balanced and quite fresh, with a viscous opening. It's tangy with marmalade and quince toward the harmonious finish. This will do nicely.

A round and unctuous Sauternes with baked peaches and apricot jam on the nose. Medium-bodied with a sweet stream of fruit on the palate and a round, creamy finish.
Simple stone fruit with white pears and gooseberries. Dry and slightly tart on the palate with light body and a succinct phenolic finish. A little diluted in the middle.
Intense yellow in the glass, the 2024 d’Arche opens with a balsamic hint, followed by tropical nuances of pineapple and pomelo. The palate is marked by noticeable sweetness that outweighs its acidity, resulting in a lack of balance. A slightly earthy note detracts from the overall clarity, though a citrusy finish brings a touch of lift. 140 g/l residual sugar.
