Here the acidity is a little sharp, but still enjoyable with good grip and lift through the palate, elderflower and citrus. Harvest 25 to 29 August. 20% new oak. Last vintage of founder Yves Picant.
Tobacco, currants, flowers, and cocoa show in the nose, while the medium-bodied palate provides a bright, fresh, juicy, herb, and currant profile. You should be able to enjoy this with just a year or so of aging. The wine blends 50% Merlot, 47% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 3% Cabernet Franc.
A silky and mellow red with currants and warm spices. It’s medium-bodied with sleek tannins. Fine texture and a juicy finish.
