Tasting notes
The 2024 Clos des Lunes Lune d'Or Blanc is 100% Sémillon and is still resting in concrete eggs and 400-liter barrels. Richly textured and medium-bodied, it offers beautiful aromatics of stone and citrus fruits, flowers, and leafy herbs, with nicely integrated background oak. It has plenty of depth as well as obvious minerality on the finish.

Delicate notes of pear, spring flowers and white fruits emerge from the glass of the 2024 Lune d'Or, a medium to full-bodied, round and sappy wine with a fleshy core of fruit, bright acids and a long, ethereal finish. It should improve with the élevage.
Crisp, bright, vivid, impressive, this has grip and lift, white peach with searing citrus and lime blossom. One to look out for. Harvest 28 August to 21 September..
The 2024 Lune d'Or, pure Sémillon picked from September 4 to 20 at 45 hl/ha, is a step up from the Lune d'Argent in terms of complexity. White peach, lime and hints of dried apricot unfold in the glass. The palate is fresh and vibrant with wonderful tension and impressive depth. This grabs the texture of the variety with both hands and runs with it. The finish has a lingering spiciness that beckons you back for more. It is excellent.
