Tasting notes
Smoked cedar, cloves, pretty intense on the oak, there are some sleek blueberry fruits underneath, savoury and sappy, high acidity. Hubert de Boüard consultant, harvest September 25 to October 10, 500l barrels for ageing two thirds of production, with 50% of that in new oak.

The 2024 Charmail offers light tertiary black fruit on the nose that needs more vigor. The palate is medium-bodied and rather dry in style, with rather dry tannins and a slightly herbaceous finish. This is early drinking.
Medium-bodied, firm, fresh, and chewy, with lifted red berries, spice, cedar, and tobacco accents from start to finish. This is one of those super value wines from the Left Bank that savvy wine buyers should be all over.
