Tasting Notes
The 2024 Brown is a bit burly and rough around the edges, yet it possesses very good depth and enough fruit to make me think it will likely come together with élevage. Plum, black cherry, chocolate, new leather, incense and spice are all dialed up in this juicy, inviting Pessac-Léognan.

The 2024 Brown feels a bit stilted on the nose. This is missing some vigor and fruit concentration. The palate is medium-bodied with a rather green entry and it tapers severely toward the finish. The estate has produced some good wines in recent years, but the 2024 exposes the challenges of the vintage.
Well-done for the vintage. This medium-bodied wine shows the brightness, crunch and juiciness of 2024. At the same time, there is some depth to the fruit with fresh but polished tannins and a long finish.
