Tasting Notes
As with much of Fronsac, there was clearly no issue getting lovely deep plum colour out of the grapes, and the opening majors on cloves, cocoa bean, liquorice, slate, wet stones, crayon, good quality, but the austerity turns things up high on the finish.

The 2024 Canon Pécresse has a well-defined nose with pleasant freshness and vitality. The palate is medium-bodied with sapid black fruit, fine grip, well-integrated oak and a harmonious finish. This is a fine Canon Fronsac for the vintage.
Bright, fresh, floral, and vibrant, the strawberries, cherries, and plums are already expressive in the nose, and on the mineral-edged palate. You can enjoy this on release and for up to a decade after release.
A structured, chewy and driven Canon-Fronsac, expressing notes of dark plums, wild herbs and dried spices. It’s medium-bodied with fine, firm tannins. A chalky texture with fleshy fruit and a dense, focused finish.
