Entirely crafted from Merlot and with 10% whole bunches, the 2024 Bel-Air (Pomerol) reveals a slightly green bouquet of oak and spices. Moderately weighted and supple, it's robust with an assertive tannic frame and a short finish.
Sappy, enjoyable dark fruits, leafy but well textured, and a touch of slate, crayon and orange peel on the finish, fresh acidities. Harvest 20 to 30 September. 13% new oak for ageing.
The 2024 Bel-Air (Pomerol) is a very pretty, elegant wine. Floral aromatics and silky tannins convey the refined, understated side of Pomerol in grand style. Crushed flowers, red-toned fruit, blood orange, spice and white pepper all grace this mid-weight, gracious Pomerol.
